Modern P.A.F.

The P.A.F. humbucker needs no introduction; it is, in all accounts, a classic. Our Modern P.A.F. set doesn't deviate from the original formula much, however we've tweaked the design slightly for higher versatility with most players. 

The neck pickup is wound like most P.A.F. humbuckers and has a sweet and rich sounding tonality that can sit within a variety of tonal contexts, from fingerpicked jazz to smooth lead soloing.

The bridge pickup is where we took some creative liberty, retaining the neck pickup's spec but amplifying it in output for extra muscle and midrange grunt while still being very much so a vintage sounding pickup.

This is a great set for players who love the classic sound of a '60s Les Paul but with a touch more kick in the bridge pickup.
