The Beale Street set is our first model that wasn’t based on any particular era of Stratocaster pickups. We pushed the turn count on the neck and middle pickups to the upper echelon limits of what 42 AWG wire can handle, and upped the bridge pickup’s gauge to push beyond a Stratocaster’s typical winding range. The result is a more muscular sounding tone that still has the ever-classic high end chime of a Stratocaster pickup, with the bridge pickup imbued with a beefier sound and pushing an amp into breakup much sooner.
